ONE PAINTING MULTIPLE IMPACTS
My name is Ashley Ward and I am the founder of Painting for Preemies.
Painting for Preemies is a non-profit organization that will raise funds through the sales of paintings to help families with premature children. I was a preemie, born at 32 weeks and just like me, my other siblings were all preemies as well. Unfortunately, one of my brothers, Caleb passed away in 2009 after living for 40 days.
Please don't be discouraged, my brother, Nolan and I achieved the many milestones expected for preemies and we are proud to say we achieved being on the honor roll for this past school year. With the loss of my brother, Caleb, and the birth of my brother, Nolan, I've witnessed the challenges parents face with caring for a preemie in NICU to purchasing special sized pampers and clothes, formulas, and special required car seats.
If you're interested in helping all you have to do is get a canvas, paint, and brushes. After you finished your creation me and my team could pick it up from your house due to COVID. We will then auction the paint off on eBay and use the money to give to the hospitals.
